capacity
the amount of space in the interior of an object (the amount of liquid/air it contains).

chord
A line segment connecting two points on the arc of a circle.

chronological
Describes dates arranged in the order in which they occur.

circle
The set of points in a plane that are a fixed distance from a given point.

circumference
The distance around a circle.

closed curve
A shape with no end points.

closed interval
A piece of a straight line that includes its endpoints.

collinear
When three or more points are in a straigt line.

commutative
Multiplication and addition are commutative, the order in which two or more numbers are added or multiplied does not affect the answer. Division and subtraction are not commutative.

complex fraction
A fraction whose numerator, denominator, or both are fractions.

composite number
