The School Phonics Teacher's Guide is part of the School Phonics program. The guide consists of 55 lessons that may be taught in as little as 20 weeks or spread out into 30 or more weeks, depending on class level or size.

Typically used in first grade, it can also be used as an intervention program in grades 3 and 4. The clean, functional design of the program lends itself well to standard class sizes or to small groups. It is appropriate to use the program in tutoring settings as well.
