The School Phonics program consists of 55 lessons that may be taught in as little as 20 weeks or spread out into 30 or more weeks, depending on class level or size.

Typically used in first grade, the Happychaps Picture Book can also be used as an intervention program in grades 3 and 4. The clean, functional design of the program lends itself well to standard class sizes or to small groups. It is appropriate to use the program in tutoring settings as well.

This picture book includes the cast of characters from the story that runs through the program. Happychaps can be used for coloring or to follow along with readings.
