Using Isotiles, students explore a surprisingly wide range of geometric concepts with ease. Isotiles use two triangular shapes (isosceles), acute and obtuse, with a relationship based on the Golden Ratio to introduce types of angles, similar triangles, angles of a polygon, symmetry, tessellations, trapezoids, parallelograms and many other polygons.
Isotiles come with a 65-page interactive workbook on CD ROM providing easy-to-use activities and assessments for 20 key geometric concepts. Isotiles are molded in high quality plastic and are about 5 cm and 8 cm, with a thivkness of 3 mm. Each set includes 10 gold and 10 blue triangles in a durable plastic case that will ensure the sets last for years of classroom use. Each set can be used with up to four students.
