Webinar - Teaching Phonics with Virtual Manipulatives

Participants will learn how to use the Virtual Manipulatives on the Didax website to explicitly teach phonological awareness skills. Hanna will walk through different activities using Unifix Cubes, 20-Bead Rekenrek, Color Tiles, Ten-Frame and the Number Line which are all accessible for free here. Educators and families can use the familiar manipulatives to practice blending, segmenting, phoneme discrimination, rhyming, and syllabication with virtual manipulatives. These tools can be used in the virtual classroom or for in-person sessions, the links can also be sent home for families to practice with their children.
